Suspect Arrested in Connection to Double Homicide in Lima

A man has been arrested in connection to a double homicide that occurred in the City of Lima over this past weekend.
At shortly after 11 this past Saturday night, officers from the Lima Police Department were dispatched to 438 West Mckibben Street in reference to a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered 28 year old Romelo Blackman and 18 year old John Dyes deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The suspect was identified as 26 year old Kenyatta Washington, of Lima.
An arrest warrant was issued for the charge of murder, and wWith the assistance of law enforcement in Louisiana, Washington was located and arrested late Monday evening in Louisiana.
