
A line of thunderstorms rumbled across the area late this morning.
The storms brought damaging winds and heavy downpours.
Most of the damage appeared to hit the southern and northeastern areas of our region.

Some damage was reported around the Patterson area.

A vehicle was damaged by a fallen tree in Ridgeway.

Most power outages were brief, but scattered outages remain in the American Electric Power service area.
Also in our region, there was damage reported around Russells Point.
A Tornado Warning was issued for the northwestern section of Logan County, which caused some scary moments for residents.
It came just three days shy of the killer tornado that struck the area.
On March 14, 2024, three people were killed in a tornado that also left behind severe damage.
The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reported that power lines and debris blocked several roads.

Areas hit were around State Highway 53 north of Upper Sandusky by the Wyandot County Fairgrounds, County Highway 330 near County Highway 108 near the new soy bean plant and US 23 both sides south of SH 53 to CH 330.
Cleanup continues in those areas.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 this (Wednesday) evening.
Southwest winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour, with guests up to 50 miles an hour will be possible.
Gusty winds could blow down tree limbs a few power outages may result.
