Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charge

A traffic stop led to drug related charges against a Kenton man Thursday evening.

 

According to the Kenton Police Department report, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 600 block of Silver Street.

 

48 year old Russell Shinn Jr. was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. A plastic straw with white powder residue was seized from the vehicle.

 

Shinn was also cited for fictitious license plates and for not having a valid driver’s license.
