Two People Facing Charges Connected to Fatal Crash in Marysville

A Union County Grand Jury has indicted two people in connection to an accident that occurred July 12, 2026 at the intersection of State Route 31 and Mill Road.

According to a release from the Marysville Police Chief Tony Brooks, 31-year-old Javonte A. Henderson was indicted on one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of child endangering, and 30-year-old Shania C. Henderson was indicted on one count of complicity to aggravated vehicular homicide and two count of endangering children.

On July 12, 2026, at approximately 11:54pm, Marysville police officers responded to a collision where a 2023 Honda CR-V struck the rear of a 2001 Ford Mustang on SR 31 at Mill Road, causing the Mustang to catch fire. The driver of the Mustang was pronounced deceased at the scene. Occupants of the Honda CR-V, including two adults and two juveniles. Were transported to medical facilities for treatment of injuries.
