USV Board of Educations Establishes RAMS Distinguished Alumni Award

The Upper Scioto Valley Board of Education has established the RAMS Distinguished Alumni Award in 2023.

Its purpose is to recognize graduates of Upper Scioto Valley, Alger, McGuffey and Roundhead Schools who have made significant contributions to their career fields and or to society.

Nominations can be made for any alumnus of the schools if at least 25 years have elapsed since the nominee’s high school graduation.

The nomination committee will consist of nine members, including a school board member and administrator as well as two USV residents.

The inaugural class of nominations must be submitted by December 31, and a banquet will be held for that group.

After that, nominations must be received by March 1 of each school with the inductees formally recognized at commencement.
