Veteran’s Fishing Tournament to be Held
A veteran’s family fishing tournament is scheduled for Saturday April 30th, 9 AM -12 PM at Veterans Park, also known as Boy Scout Lake in Kenton.
All Veterans and their immediate family members are welcome to attend this first annual event, however, the veteran must “register” themselves and their family members with the Veterans’ Service Office located in the courthouse in order to partake in the tournament.
Only registered participants will be able to win trophies and other prizes, along with having a light lunch provided for free after the tournament.
The event is being hosted by the Veterans’ Service Commission and is sponsored by local donors.
