Wapakoneta Police Officer Receives First Responder Award
Wapakoneta Police Detective Jordan Barns received the 2023 First Responder Award.
Detective Barns was recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to the Wapakoneta Police Department and the City of Wapakoneta.
Over the past year, he has taken on a new role in the Wapakoneta Police Department as detective, and he is becoming a leader that new officers can go to for help.
During this transition, Detective Barns has handled the role with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
The ceremony was held earlier this week at the Masonic Temple in Wapakoneta.
