Most area schools ended up taking a snow today, and the Winter Weather Advisory continues until 1 Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says that the snow will continue today, with total accumulations of 2 to 3 inches expected.
Plan on slippery road conditions which could impact your evening commute.
The snow will be replaced by a shot of frigid temperatures over the weekend.
With highs around 20 and lows in the single digits, sub zero wind chill values will be likely Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Moderating temperatures are expected to start the work week, with the temperature expected to climb above freezing by Monday.
