An estimated 52,000 people within the 11 county service area of the West Ohio Food Bank, which includes Hardin, are considered food insecure.

Of that number, over 13, 400 are children.

According to a release from the food bank, lack of access to adequate nutrition jeopardizes their health, development, education, and futures.

The West Ohio Food Bank is asking for monetary donations to help provide healthy, nourishing food to children and families.

Every $10 you give provides up to 50 meals.
