Bluffton Grad Finds Success on National Stage

An athlete from our region had success on the national stage.

Trevor Bassitt won the indoor 400m USATF national championship.

He is a senior at Ashland University and a graduate of Bluffton High School.  

Bassitt is the first collegian to win the national championship in the indoor 400m since 1990. 

He qualified for team USA and will run at the IAAF world indoor track and field championships in Belgrade, Serbia next month.
