
The Elida Bulldogs held off a fourth-quarter Kenton rally to post a 69-66 victory in Division 2 sectional tournament play Tuesday at the Elida Fieldhouse.
Elida improves to 5-16 while Kenton ends its season 0-17.
The Wildcats trailed by 16 points in the fourth quarter but fought back and had possessions in the closing minutes to tie or take the lead.
Jayden Cornell led all players with 31 points and was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.
Jacob Eversole added 11 points while Jarrett Jolliff added 9 points and 8 rebounds for the Cats.
