Indian Lake Cruises by KMS Baseball Team
Despite coming out ahead in the first inning 1-0, the 7th grade Kenton Middle School baseball team struggled on the mound, at the plate and in the field losing to Indian Lake last night 18-4.
Kyle Thrush, Tim Wilkinson, Sam Taylor and Kade Smith all combined with twelve walks, two strike outs, ten allowed hits and eighteen runs.
Luke Leffler was one of the bright spots on the team with a single, a double, a walk and four RBI’s.
Tim Wilkinson also made a nice double play in the first inning catching a line-out and the third base runner.
The Wildcats are back in action on Wednesday night hosting the Ada Middle School team at Home Run Memorial Park at 5:00 pm.
