Kenton Varsity Softball Team Falls to St Marys
Kenton High School Varsity Softball falls to St. Marys Memorial High School 7-4
Tuesday’s game against St. Mary’s was a heartbreaker for Kenton Wildcats , as they lost the lead late in a 7-4 defeat.
The game was tied at three with St. Mary’s batting in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run for St. Mary’s.
St. Mary’s fired up the offense in the first inning.
R. Sweigart hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the first inning, Kenton Wildcats tied things up at three.
K. Mcglothen earned the win for St. Mary’s. The ace went seven innings, allowing four runs on two hits and striking out 12.
Jasmine Reisinger and Emily Pees each collected one hit to lead Kenton Wildcats.
