Ridgemont Softball Team Cruises Past Lima Perry
The Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity Softball Team blew out Perry 8-2 on Wednesday.
Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity notched three runs in the fifth inning. Nikki Freshcorn and Callie Cromer each drove in runs during the inning.
Whitney Bailey pitched Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity to victory. She went seven innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out two and walking one.
Kelsey Wells took the loss for Perry. She surrendered eight runs on ten hits over six innings, striking out nine and walking one.
Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity racked up ten hits. Cromer, Jackie Ramsey, Freshcorn, and Cassidy Knapp each had multiple hits for Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity. Knapp, Freshcorn, Ramsey, and Cromer each collected two hits to lead Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity.
