Shawnee Shuts Down Kenton in Girls Tennis
The Kenton girls tennis team fell to Western Buckeye League’s Shawnee Thursday night 5-0.
Kenton’s first singles Mykaela Schriber lost to Shawnee’s Aria Patel 6-0, 6-0.
Second singles Lily Osborn of Kenton fell to Kumi Ojo of Shawnee 6-0, 6-0.
Kenton’s third singles Grace Collins lost 6-0, 6-0 to Shawnee’s Alora Patel.
Kenton’s first doubles Kayce Sherman and Aaliyah Rogers were topped 6-0, 6-0 to Shawnee’s Katie Clark and Alotus Wei.
Second doubles Samantha Lowe and Angel Chen were beaten by Shawnee’s Donna Bowers and Hannah Paton 6-0, 6-0.
Kenton travels to Ottawa Glandorf on Monday.
