State of Ohio officials announced last week that nearly two dozen communities around the state will receive funding to complete critical infrastructure and neighborhood improvement projects that improve quality of life for local residents.

A $750,000 Neighborhood Revitalization grant was awarded to Hardin County to assist the village of Ada with installing new fire hydrants, manholes, storm sewers, catch basins, curb cuts, and drainage features.

The project will also fix sidewalks and resurface a road.

Also in our region, Logan County will receive a $750,000 Neighborhood Revitalization grant to assist with projects in the village of DeGraff.

Hancock County will receive a $747,000 grant to assist with projects in the village of McComb.

The grant awards are funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant program.
