Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
The Lady Wildcats lose tonight in tournament action 61-40. The Cats were led in scoring by Macee Heckathorn with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Olivia Nolting had 10 points. Sadi Larrabee had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Ali Harpel had 6 points and Gabi Wetherill had 5 points and 3 steals Elida was led by Addison Freeman with 16 points.
The Cats' intensity and never give up mentality paid off in a big way as they defeated Glandorf in the Elida Tournament Championship. Leading all scorers was Brylee Bostelman with 18. Jadynn Byers and Lyla Gammom each added 4 points. Hadley Wilson hit a three and Kaylee Barlow chipped in a basket. Great season ladies!

The following USHS swimmers qualified for the district swim meet this Friday, February 17 at BGSU. The Kenton Wrestling Team placed ninth at the Western Buckeye League Championships at Elida scoring 39.0 points. St. Marys took home the WBL team title going undefeated during the regular season and winning the tournament handily with a score of 187.0 points. The Lady Wildcats finished the WBL season in a strong way as they win at Shawnee 71-65. The Wildcats finish the league 5-4. The Lady Cats were led by Ali Harpel with 26 points. Kenton competed in the WBL boys bowling tournament in Wapakoneta Thursday and finished in 3rd place behind champion St. Marys and runner-up Wapakoneta. Adam Hastings led the Wildcats with a 3-game series of 527 (197 - 122 - 208). Zane Rogers had Kenton's high game of 222 and a 3-game series of 509 (148 - 139 - 222). The Lima Shawnee wrestling team travelled to Kenton last night to face the Wildcats in the last WBL dual meet before conference championships this coming weekend. Shawnee, 4-4 in conference duals, defeated Kenton 64-18. Before the dual meet started, Kenton recognized its' senior wrestlers Aaron Modd, Gavin Manns, Antonio Pettit and Jace Perkins.
