Alzheimer’s Association Education Programs Scheduled.

The Alzheimer's Association has scheduled two education programs in Kenton this month. The programs are called the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's. The first is being held on Friday April 14th at noon at the Mary Lou Johnson- Hardin County District Library. It will also be held on April 18th at 10:00am at the Hardin County Council on Aging.

Kenton Soccer Association Boys Soccer Meeting

There will be a KSA boys soccer meeting this Thursday, April 13 at 7pm in the KHS library.  Any Kenton 8th grader or high school boy interested in playing boys soccer are welcome to attend.  They will be passing out the summer calendar and going over other details of the program.  If interested contact Coach Jamie Bartlett at (567)674-5728 with any questions!

Sunday Afternoon Accident Claims The Life Of An Ada Man

April 10, 2023 For immediate release: The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that claimed the life of an Ada man on Sunday afternoon. Governor Signs Executive Order to Launch Adoption Grant Program

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today signed Executive Order 2023-09D to launch the Ohio Adoption Grant Program, which provides up to $20,000 to parents adopting a child. Parents who have finalized an adoption since Jan. 1, 2023, can begin applying for the grant today at AdoptionGrant.Ohio.gov.  "Every child deserves a safe, permanent, loving home," said Governor DeWine. Law Enforcement Training Drill Conducted Saturday Morning

Law Enforcement Officers Begin Part of Their Training Locating the "Active Shooter" The Hardin County Sheriff's Office conducted a training exercise this past Saturday morning. Approximately a total of 15 officers from both the Sheriff's Department and Kenton Police Department attended the drill at Upper Scioto Valley Local Schools. Board of Elections Meeting Date Changed

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Office in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse for their regular board meeting and to conduct public logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment. This is a change from the regular meeting date of April 13, 2023.
