United Way of Auglaize County Hosting Drive-Thru

The United Way of Auglaize County will partner with the West Ohio Food Bank for a no-touch drive-thru food distribution Friday, January 15. Two positions are available at the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Central-Ohio Owl Research Ongoing

Dr. Blake Mathys of Ohio Dominican University has undertaken a search for owls wintering across Ohio. Dr. Mathys, a Union County resident, asks the public to search local evergreen trees, barns, garages, and silos (among other locations) for owls, and to submit any findings anonymously through the link on ohiodominican.edu/OwlProject. Veterans’ Group Packs Lunches with United Way

Team Rubicon, a veteran-led service group, partnered with the United Way of Hancock County to distribute food to community members. 280 bags of food for schoolchildren and 200 boxes of food for senior citizens were packed by Team Rubicon members at the West Ohio Food Bank Saturday. Dog Found in Russells Point

The kennels of the Logan County Sheriff's Office have taken in a stray dog. Russells Point Police report the dog was found lying beside the road near the post office, wearing a camouflage collar attached to a broken cable.
