Nicole Jenkins Named Interim Director of Hancock County Veterans Service Office

The Hancock County Veterans Service Commission announced that Nicole Jenkins has been named Interim Director of the Veterans Service Office effective today. Former Executive Director Nichole Coleman's last day in office was yesterday. She accepted a position as Chief Culture Officer for TurboVets. That is a company dedicated to improving access and services for veterans nationwide. The Hancock County Veterans Service Commission thanked Coleman for her years of leadership and service and wished her the best in her new role.

The City of Findlay's Fall 2025 Bulk Trash and Tire Drop Off event will take place October 25 through November 1. Monday through Friday hours are 8am to 7pm or until full and Saturday 8am until 4pm or until full. The location is the Public Works Department, 330 North Cory Street in Findlay. Area Blood Drives Scheduled in Kenton and Belle Center This Month

Two blood drives will be held around the area in the month of October. The first one is on Thursday, October 9. It will run from 10am until 4pm at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton. The other one is on Monday, October 13 from noon until 6pm at the Belle Center United Methodist Church. It is located at 101 South Center Street in Belle Center.
