Three Hardin County Crashes Result in Two Injuries Last Week

Information on three crashes that occurred in Hardin County throughout the day on Monday, June 1 has been released. According to the first report, 47-year-old Emily Shane, of Forest, drove from a stop sign on County Road 175 onto State Route 67, and her vehicle was struck by a westbound car being driven by Noah Von Derau, of Marion, no age listed. United Way of Hardin County's Day of Caring will take place August 21. The 2026-27 campaign will kick-off that day, and they will then head out to complete projects across Hardin County. Volunteers will be on hand from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and you may request assistance for the full day, the morning, or the afternoon. Vehicle Overturns After Driver Attempts to Avoid Deer in Allen County

A Lima man was injured in a one vehicle roll over crash that occurred in Allen County Monday night. According to a report from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Parker Roach was driving south on State Route 65 in Perry Township, when he swerved to the right to avoid hitting a deer.
