Dollar General in Alger is still coming to the village. Alger Mayor Von Summa said the process has slowed, but it's still on track. He said the project slowed because the company moved away from its original contractor and had to start over. One crash led to another on US 23 in Marion County early Monday morning. According to the reports from the Ohio State Highway Parol, 48-year-old Flint Fox, of Fostoria, lost control of his vehicle while driving south on 23. A pole barn was damaged by a fire that occurred Monday evening in the 12,000 block of State Route 67 west of Kenton. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, an occupant of the residence heard an explosion and looked out and saw smoke coming from the unattached structure.
