McGuffey Conservation Club Hosting Catfish Tournament This Saturday

The McGuffey Conservation Club is having a catfish tournament this Saturday, June 13. Sign-ups start at 5:00 p.m., and fishing starts at 6:00 that evening. A concession stand will be serving food, and there will be 50/50 and raffles. McGuffey Conservation Club is located at 6950 Township Road 55 in Alger.

MLJ Library System Upgrade to Temporarily Impact Computers and Internet Access on Thursday

Computers, Wi-Fi, and internet will be unavailable at the Mary Lou Johnson- Hardin County District Library this Thursday, June 11th from 10:00am to 1:00pm. That is because their systems will be down for an upgrade. They ask patrons to plan ahead for the brief outage. Library officials apologized for any inconvenience.

Three Hardin County Crashes Result in Two Injuries Last Week

Information on three crashes that occurred in Hardin County throughout the day on Monday, June 1 has been released. According to the first report, 47-year-old Emily Shane, of Forest, drove from a stop sign on County Road 175 onto State Route 67, and her vehicle was struck by a westbound car being driven by Noah Von Derau, of Marion, no age listed. Disabling damage occurred to the vehicles, but there were no injuries. No citations were listed on the report. […]
