The City of Kenton has announced that stop signs are being installed on North Leighton Street at the intersection of Grove Street, converting the intersection into a four-way stop. The change takes effect today, March 20, 2026.

A Mt. Victory man was sentenced Thursday afternoon on two counts of tampering with evidence. Andrew McCafferty was placed on five-year community control, with conditions. He must serve 180 days of local incarceration but was granted 129 days for time served. McCafferty must report to the Multi-County Correctional Center in Marion, beginning March 23, and he was granted work release upon filing an approved Work Release Contract.
