Barbara Ann Long 89of Kenton A memorial service for Barbara Ann Long will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenton with Pastor Ken Engdahl officiating. Mt. Victory Man Sentenced on Tampering Charges After Acquittal on Serious Counts

A Mt. Victory man was sentenced Thursday afternoon on two counts of tampering with evidence. Andrew McCafferty was placed on five-year community control, with conditions. He must serve 180 days of local incarceration but was granted 129 days for time served. McCafferty must report to the Multi-County Correctional Center in Marion, beginning March 23, and he was granted work release upon filing an approved Work Release Contract.
