Several Kenton City School staff members were recognized for their milestone years of service. Among them were Sharon Martin for 45 years and Brent Fackler for 40 years of service. Senior Expo Set for October 9 at Hardin County Fairgrounds

United Way of Hardin County -Ohio United Way of Hardin County has scheduled its 3rd Annual Senior Expo on October 9. The hours will be from 10:00 am until noon at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The free to attend event will offer a complimentary lunch, health screenings, raffle baskets, and door prizes. Over 25 vendors will also be set up.

To be part of the 2026 Hardin County Fair, you need to make the entries at the office on the fairgrounds in Kenton. The office is open today and tomorrow from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. The fair is scheduled to run September 8-13.

Lima Municipal Center Elevator to Close for Approximately Six Weeks

Starting today, the elevator at the Lima Municipal Center will be out of service for approximately six weeks while necessary work is being completed. A vendor reported that they received an email appearing to use the Wyandot County Fair name and email address requesting payment via wire transfer. Fair officials stated that they will never ask you to send payment via wire transfer, and you should not send payment or respond to any request like that.
