Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
It's day number two for the Marion County Fair. Daily admission is $10 for 11 and over and free for 10 and under. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. Harness Racing and Tough Truck competition are featured in the in the grandstand today. The fair runs through this Saturday, July 4 at the fairgrounds in Marion. The 2025 Consumer Confidence Report has been released by the Village of Alger. It was prepared to provide information to consumers on the quality of the village's drinking water. Ridgemont Public Library: Mt. Victory and Ridgeway Dewey’s Gopher Garden is providing fresh vegetables at the Ridgemont Public Library this summer. Located on the east side of the building, the Gopher Garden has a variety of tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, and squash for your taking, and feel free to pick a few weeds while you’re checking out the produce. Ohio State Lima Ohio State Lima announced that the family friendly 10th STEAM on the Quad will be held again this fall. The event will take place from one until 4pm on Sunday September 27, and food trucks will be on the grounds. Kids in grades K-8 can to do hands-on activities that will improve their knowledge and interest in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and humanities, and Math fields. Kenton Historic Courthouse District Kids Zone activities will keep kids entertained during Eats on the Street Saturday, July 18 from 5 until 10 p.m. in downtown Kenton. Activities will include bounce houses, giant inflatable slide, challenging 9-hole mini golf course, other outdoor games, and creative coloring stations. It is sponsored by Hensel Ready Mix. Tree Town Festival The 4th Annual Cornhole Tournament will take place on Saturday, July 11 as part of Tree Town Festival activities in Forest. It will take place behind the Main Food Pavilion at Gormley Park in Forest, and all skill levels are welcome. The entry fee is $40 per team, and you can bring your own partner. The U.S. 30 westbound ramp to U.S. 23 southbound on the east side of the city of Upper Sandusky in Wyandot County closed today (Monday, June 29). It will be closed for approximately four days for bridge repair. The detour is U.S. 23 north to County Road 330, back to U.S. 23 south.
