Revitalize Kenton: a community partnership Revitalize Kenton and Ohio Arts Council will hold a public unveiling and dedication ceremony on October 18 at Hillcrest Lanes in Kenton. The Striking Connections: A Community Mural Project will take place from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at 1001 West Lima Street in Kenton. The new mural will be unveiled at that time.
Kenton City Schools Board of Education will meet this evening. Mostly personnel items are on the agenda. The Board will vote on approving adult breakfast and lunch prices. If approved, they would be $3.05 for breakfast and lunch $5.20. Student breakfast and lunches are free for this school year. The September meeting will start at 6:00 this evening in the Central Office Building. The full agenda can be found below.
Kenton High School Homecoming festivities kicked off today. Throughout this week, students will participate in special themed dress days, a Powder Puff football game this Wednesday, followed by the annual Homecoming bonfire at 8:00pm directly behind Robinson Field. A joint pep rally for Kenton High School and Kenton Middle School students will be held in the KMHS gymnasium on Friday at 2:00pm.
