Hardin Northern to Present Disney’s High School Musical Jr. This Weekend

Hardin Northern Local School District Hardin Northern's presentation of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. takes place this weekend. The hardworking students invites the public to enjoy their high-energy performance. Showtimes are March 20 and 21 at 7:00 PM and a matinee performance March 22 at 2pm. Tickets for students in 12th grade and under are $5, adults $10 and a 3-Show Pass is $25. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in the high school office.

Play For Purpose Launches “The Playground Pack” to Support Hardin County Schools

Play For Purpose has launched a new community initiative called The Playground Pack, and your help is needed. Their goal is to raise $1,800 to purchase sports balls and playground equipment that will be distributed to elementary schools that serve students in Hardin County. These items help give kids more opportunities to stay active, play together, and enjoy their time at recess. LeRoy C. Osborn, 84, of Kenton died March 13, 2026 At St. Rita's Hospital. He was born in Kenton, OH, on July 11, 1941, to LeRoy M. and Bertha May (Hardin) Osborn. He is survived by his children, siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents. LeRoy was an inspector at Rockwell for thirty-two years. Forest Woman Pleads Guilty to 7 Counts in Obscenity Case, Avoids Trial

A Forest woman changed her plea, avoiding a trial on a 34-count indictment. 23-year-old Savanah L. McKinley was facing 17 counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and 17 counts of pandering obscenity. A $5,000 own-recognizance bond was reinstated after she pleaded guilty to 7 counts of pandering obscenity, all fifth-degree felonies, on Tuesday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. Kenton City Schools Hosting “Test Drive a Bus” Event Saturday

Kenton City Schools Kenton City Schools is holding a Test Drive A Bus event this Saturday, March 21. It will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Kenton, and no RSVP is needed. It's an opportunity to put your driving skills to the test and test drive a bus.
