Joyce Anne (Friedel) Biddinger of Findlay and formerly of Kenton, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by members of her family. She was born on July 13, 1932, in Kenton, Ohio to the late Harold and Hazel (Sponseller) Friedel.  Joyce married the love of her life, H. Cliff Biddinger, on November 7, 1953. Benjamin Logan High School Concert Band Advances to State Competition

The Benjamin Logan High School Concert Band has qualified for the Ohio Music Education Association’s State Large Group Adjudicated Event. After the district adjudicated event this past weekend at Bellefontaine High School, the band earned an overall rating of Superior. That is the highest possible rating. The band will now advance to the state level.

Bluffton University Forum Examines Sports as a Spiritual Discipline 

BLUFFTON, Ohio — Rev. Michael Danner, associate executive director for church vitality with Mennonite Church USA, will present a Forum titled “Sports as a Spiritual Discipline” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in Yoder Recital Hall.  Drawing on his experience as a denominational leader and high school track coach, Danner will discuss how sports participation can serve as a practice of faith and discipleship.  The Forum is free and open to the public.

A Marysville man is facing a charge of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor or impaired person after a search warrant was served this morning.
