US 68 Reopens After Railroad Crossing Gate Repairs in Dunkirk

A railroad crossing on US 68 in Dunkirk was blocked early this morning due to malfunctioning railroad crossing gates. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office advised motorists to find an alternate route due to the situation. The crossing gates were repaired and normal traffic resumed around two and half hours later.

Storms Bring Down Power Poles, Trigger Widespread Outages

Several rounds of thunderstorms have rumbled across the area over the past couple of days. Monday morning's storm brought down power poles and lines in the 900 block of East Columbus Street in Kenton which resulted in a widespread power outage. AEP crews had power restored to most customers by 6:00 Monday evening. Findlay Police Dispatch received a call from a resident of the Rodeway Inn, room 214 at 1 p.m. Monday of a male threatening to harm himself.
