The City of Kenton‘s 3rd Annual Longest Day of Play is taking over the town tomorrow. Activities are being planned at parks from morning until dusk on Friday. From active games to cool refreshments, the ultimate lineup of family-friendly fun for participants of all ages is being planned. Lima Area Concert Band to Present “Sounds of Sousa” Concert

Hardin Northern Local School District The Lima Area Concert Band is doing a Sounds of Sousa concert this Saturday, June 20. It will start at 7:30pm at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima. Tickets at $15, but students of any age are free. Luke Price, Hardin Northern’s John Philip Sousa Award Recipient, will be there performing with the concert band.

OhioHealth Reaches Agreement with DOJ and Ohio AG

COLUMBUS, Ohio – OhioHealth has reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Ohio Attorney General to end litigation over language in certain managed care contracts. OhioHealth does not admit any wrongdoing in the agreement, and maintains their contracting practices were and are lawful and appropriate. OhioHealth will not pay penalties, fines or damages. Kenton Missionary Alliance Church is having an ice cream social on Saturday, July 11. It will take place from 4:30 until 6:30 pm at 15436 State Route 309 in Kenton. This is open to the public, and free will donations will be accepted. The proceeds will fund Kenton Missionary Alliance Church food pantry.
