Market on Main is back tomorrow (Saturday, August 8). The hours are from 9:00 AM until noon at the corner of Main and Ohio Streets, behind Middlefield Bank in Kenton. The Farmer's Market features fresh local foods and other local vendors. Market on Main is a collaborative project of the Kenton Historic Courthouse District and City of Kenton Government.
Hardin Northern Local School District Hardin Northern unveiled its Military Wall of Honor on Thursday. It is now displayed in the main entrance of the school. Memorial Evangelical Church of Carey Memorial Evangelical Church is hosting a Christian Music Fest during Carey Fest this evening. It will start at 7:00 p.m. at the church located at 229 East Findlay Street in Carey. This event features an evening of Christian music. Everyone is welcome to attend.

A rural Mt. Victory woman was indicted in Union County on four counts of theft of drugs, which are all fourth-degree felonies. According to documents filed in Union County Common Pleas Court, 32-year-old Darian N. McGue was charged with the offenses in connection to the theft of Oxycodone from four separate victims. The incidents allegedly occurred from June 1 through August 13, 2025. Kenton Historic Courthouse District Coordinator and Revitalize Kenton Board Member Jennifer Ramge presented a proposal to the Fair Board at this week's Agricultural Society meeting. She asked about the Fairgrounds being host to a newly formed coon dog trial competition.
