Hardin County Board of Elections Office Announces One-Day Closure

The Hardin County Board of Elections office will be closed this Friday, July 10. The closure is to allow the staff, Director and Deputy Director to attend the O.A.E.O Northwest Regional Meeting. The BOE office is located in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton.  It is scheduled to reopen Monday, July 13.

Hardin County Board of Elections Warns Residents About Unofficial Election Mailer

The Hardin County Board of Elections sent out a notice over the holiday weekend advising the community to be aware of a letter that some residents have received in the mail. The letter shows it’s an Election Notice with a return address of P.O. Box 7052 Alexandria, Virginia. Its labeled Time Sensitive: Immediate Action Requested. Marion – Troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on July 4th, 2026, at approximately 10:42 PM.
