A section of Washington Street in the City of Findlay is closed for most of today. A sewer lining project has Washington Street, between Hurd Avenue to Findlay Street, will be closed until 5:00 p.m. this evening. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes. The City of Findlay will release updates on information and schedules when it becomes available.

Forest-Jackson Public Library A pool party for Forest-Jackson Public Library Summer Reading participants will be held July 21 at the Mt. Blanchard Swimming Pool. Swimming will be from 11am until noon. That will be followed by pizza, which will be served in the open-air pavilion. Helping Hands will be holding an indoor garage sale on July 17 and July 18. The hours will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., this Friday and Saturday. The sale will take place at 100 Cleveland Avenue in Kenton. Numerous items will be for sale and all proceeds will go to help with community projects.
Village of Ada The Village of Ada Pool will be opening early to the public for adults and children ages 12 and under to enjoy swim time. The early swim dates will be today through this Thursday, July 20-22 and July 27-31. The pool will open for early swim from 10am until noon. Admission is $5 per person, and children 3 and under are free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
