Eight Hardin Northern Grads Selected to Honor Court

Marion Man Cited for OVI Following Union County Crash

A 63 year old Marion man was cited for operating a vehicle while under the influence following a crash in Union County Thursday afternoon.   According to the report from the Union County Sheriff's Office, James Caldwell lost control of his car while driving west on State Route 347.   The vehicle ended up off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail resulting in disabling damage.   Caldwell was not injured.

Four Vehicles Stolen; Multiple Vehicles Entered in Union County

Several vehicles were stolen, and multiple vehicles were broken into in Jerome Township in Union County Thursday.   According to a release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, the hardest hit areas include the Dogwood Neighborhood in Jerome Village and the New California Woods and Hills subdivisions.   A total of four vehicles were stolen and numerous items were stolen from several vehicles in the area.   Almost all of the vehicles that were entered were left unlocked and ignition […]

Flood Warnings in Effect for 3 Surrounding Counties

Flood warnings are in effect for three counties in our region today.   Heavy rain that fell Thursday and through the overnight is causing standing water on roadways.   Rivers and streams are also rising leading to a flood warning in Allen County until 3:30 this afternoon, Auglaize County until 2:45 and until 10 tonight in Hancock County.   The National Weather Service advises motorists to use caution and not drive across flooded roads.

Commissioners Shoot Down Rumor of Hardin Hills Closing

The Hardin County Commissioners met recently with staff and family members at Hardin Hills to deal with what they termed toxic rumors that the facility is closing.   They assured those present that Hardin Hills is not closing. ReStore Community Center in Ada Seeks Help in Finding New Name

Marion Man Arrested Following Incident at Upper Sandusky Bar

A man from Marion was arrested in Upper Sandusky Thursday night.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to Rosebud's Tavern on a report that a man, identified as Derek E.
