The Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity Softball Team blew out Perry 8-2 on Wednesday. Ridgemont Golden Gophers Varsity notched three runs in the fifth inning. Kenton Man Cited for Open Burning Violation

House Fire Reported near Alger Thursday Morning

A house fire was reported this morning south of Alger.   According to scanner traffic, the Alger Fire Department was dispatched around 8:15 to a single story house on County Road 35 just south of Alger.   The structure was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.   Fire departments from Ada and Roundhead provided mutual assistance.   The Hardin County Fire Investigation Unit was called to assist in finding a cause for the blaze.   No other information is available at […]

Man Indicted in Connection to Death of 17 Month Old Child

A man has been indicted in connection to the death of a 17 month old child in Findlay.   The Findlay Courier reported that the 17 month old suffered a "closed head injury" in June of 2018 and died on July 4 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.   The paper received the autopsy results on Wednesday.   A release from the Findlay Police Department stated that 30 year old Jonathan Suber was indicted for murder this week by the […]

Several Items Stolen From Apartment in Kenton

A burglary was reported to Kenton police on Wednesday.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, a resident at Forest Court Apartments reported that a large screen television and gaming equipment were stolen from her apartment.   The value of the missing items was listed at $2100.   A 16 year old Kenton girl was listed as the suspect, but she has not yet been charged.
