Man Arrested Following Incident on High Street

A Mt. Burglary Reported to KPD Thursday

A burglary was reported to Kenton police on Thursday.   According to the report, a Kenton resident told officers a television and soundbar were stolen from her residence in the 500 block of King Street.   A 16 year old male from Kenton is listed as the suspect, but he has not yet been charged.

Kenton Man’s Bank Card Used Without His Permission

A Kenton man reported that a named suspect used his bank card without his permission.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the 67 year old victim said a woman used the card to withdraw nearly $500 from his account.   The suspect is facing a charge of theft, but she has not yet been charged as the incident remains under investigation.

Man Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance in Nevada

A Nevada man was arrested Thursday following an argument with his brother.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of South Goodbread Street to investigate the active domestic disturbance.   It was discovered that the suspect, identified as Steven Bledsoe, allegedly punched his brother several times, and shoved his mother causing an injury to her.   The argument apparently started when Bledsoe was about to smoke […]

Supreme Court of Ohio Refuses to Hear Appeal of Dennis Dellifield

The Supreme Court of Ohio has declined to accept jurisdiction of an appeal made by the former band director of Allen East Schools. Dennis L. Boil Water Advisory in Forest Has Been Lifted

The boil advisory for residents in Forest whose water service was off on Gage St. and Wells Road has been lifted. According to information from the village, water was turned off for residents of 529,523,521,515 West Gage along with ALL of Wells Road for a water main installation on Wednesday. The boil water advisory was in effect when the water was turned back on Wednesday afternoon.
