Two Stretches of 67 Set to Close Starting Next Week

Slight Decline in Gas Prices in Hardin County

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County declined slightly from last week.   AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.64 today. That is down 2 cents from last week's $2.66.   Hardin County no longer has the cheapest price per gallon in our region. The Marion Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying an individual in connection with an Armed Robbery at Ollie's at the Marion Plaza on Mt. Hancock County Crash Claims the Life of North Baltimore Man

A North Baltimore man was killed in a one vehicle crash Thursday morning in Hancock County.   According to the report from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, 48 year old Bradley Tidd lost control of his car while driving east on County Road 212.   The car went off the north side of the road and struck a tree causing heavy damage.   Tidd was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay where he was pronounced dead.   The crash […]

Ottawa Woman Injured in Arlington Crash Thursday Night

A Wharton man was cited following an injury crash in Arlington Thursday night.   According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office report, 42 year old Jeremy Saldana was driving south on Main Street and travelled off the right side of road striking a parked car.   Heavy damage occurred to both vehicles, and a passenger in Saldana's car, 37 year old Samantha Klein, of Ottawa, was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.   Saldana was cited […]

Three Sentenced Recently in Common Pleas Court

Three people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.   According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office:   .Drew E. Rensing was sentenced to a total of 20 months in prison on one count of possession of heroin and for violating terms of his supervision.   .Jason S.
