Logan County Residents Invited to Coffee & Conversation with Sheriff

The Logan County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Coffee and Conversation with the Sheriff tomorrow.   The event will be held at the DeGraff Creamery in DeGraff from 8-9:30am.   Sheriff Randall Dodds will give and update on Logan County events and news.   Special guest Commissioner Paul Beneditti will also attend the forum.

Bluffton, Ohio—Bluffton University will celebrate its annual May Day weekend of festivities May 3-5. Vehicle Damaged in Downtown Kenton Crash

Traffic is slow going on Detroit Street between Franklin and Columbus due to an accident. A sport utility vehicle was travelling west on Franklin, and attempted to turn right onto Detroit at the same time a semi was turning right. Victim Treated for Stab Wounds in Findlay

A victim was treated for stab wounds in Findlay Monday evening.   According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to Blanchard Valley Hospital where the victim was being treated.   It was determined that the assault occurred at 417 Allen Avenue.   The victim had been assaulted by at least two male suspects and received several minor stab wounds.   At least one of the suspects was identified and officers are attempting to locate him […]

Engineer’s Office Announces Road Opening and Closing

The Hardin County Engineer's Office has announced a road opening and closing.   Following a culvert replacement project, the intersection of Jackson Township Roads 185 and 50 is open as of Monday.   Closed now is Township Road 210, between County Roads 75 and 115, is closed for culvert replacement.   The road will be closed for 2 to 3 weeks.

Court Office Closing Times Announced

The Hardin County Juvenile Court will be closed for part of the day on Monday April 22.   The hours closed will be 8am to 1pm for training.   Also, the Hardin County Probate and Juvenile Courts will be closed from 11:45am to 1:15pm on Wednesday April 24 for Administrative Assistance Day.

Woman Facing Disorderly Conduct Charge

An Alger woman was taken into custody following an incident Monday evening.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of South Wayne Street in reference to a domestic dispute.   46 year old Susan Mattox was taken into custody on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Theft Reported at Kenton Kroger Store

A theft was reported at the Kroger store just before 4 Monday afternoon.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the store in reference to a theft complaint.   Two male suspects are said to have left the store without paying for several items in a cart.   The men are each facing a charge of theft.

Wyandot County Sheriff Releases April Activity Report

The Wyandot County Sheriff's Office released its activity report for the month of March.   184 complaints were received.   18 adults were arrested on felony charges, and another 22 for misdemeanor charges.   There were two injury crashes that injured two people.   Ten new conceal carry permits were issued and 11 were renewed.
