Channel Markers and Buoys Removed Removed at Indian Lake

All of the red and green channel markers and lake buoys have been removed at Indian Lake. They will be cleaned and stored for the winter months thanks.  Boaters should use caution due to the absence of the buoys and continue to follow the rule, no wake 300 feet from the shoreline.  As a reminder, all boats docked at the State docks need to be removed by November 1.

U.S. Secret Service to Conduct ‘Simulation Training’ at ONU

ADA, Ohio - The United States Secret Service (USSS) visited Ohio Northern University on Monday, Oct. 23 to conduct simulation training focused on real-life scenarios, and for recruiting purposes. Ada Kiwanis Halloween Parade Tonight

The Ada Kiwanis Halloween Parade is this (Monday) evening. Registration is at 5:15pm behind the Municipal Building on Buckeye Street in the village. Costume judging will be by the age groups of first and second grades, third and fourth grades, fifth and sixth grades, groups of any age and pets, adults and Ada Band Members. The parade will move out at 6 this evening.

USDA Extends Milk Loss Program Assistance Deadline to Oct. 30

WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2023 – The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the application deadline for the Milk Loss Program (MLP) to Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, allowing more time for eligible dairy farmers to apply for much-needed, weather-related disaster recovery assistance.
