The Hardin County Fair is looking to fill a part time, seasonal position in the fair office.   This will be for the month of August through the week of the fair.  You must be able to work a computer.  Apply in person at the fair secretary’s office Wednesday and Fridays from 9am to 4pm.   The office will be closed the week of July 4th.

Several residents in Findlay reported that they have been getting calls from someone claiming to be an officer for the Findlay Police Department. The United Way of Hardin County has announced the date for the Annual Campaign Kick-Off. It will be held on Friday August 4 at the Mid-Ohio Energy Building. Breakfast will be provided starting at 7:30 that morning. The program will conclude by 9am. Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the 2023-24 campaign.

Touch a Truck Event at Ridgeway Fire Station Saturday

The Ridgemont Public Library is holding a Touch A Truck event at the end of the Summer Reading Program. The free family event will be held from 10am until noon this Saturday July 1 at the Ridgeway Fire Station. Several community vehicles will be on display including a firetruck and ambulance. LC History Center Promotes McCracken Fen State Nature Preserve

The Logan County History Center encouraged residents to visit the McCracken Fen State Nature Preserve. It is located on Township Road 32 just over a mile south of Bellefontaine.
