Wind Advisory Continues Until 4 this Afternoon

A wind advisory remains in effect until 4 this afternoon. Sustained winds of 25 to 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 50 miles an hour can be expected. Thursday brings showers and thunderstorms with high near 60.  Some of the storms tomorrow could be strong to severe. By Friday, the temperature will struggle to hit 30 under cloudy skies. Busy Weekend for Forest Maintenance Crew

Members of the village maintenance crew in Forest spent much of this past Super Bowl weekend in the village after a sewer system crash.   Crews worked a double shift on Friday repairing one of the sewer lines.   A second failed line was discovered by a maintenance crew member on Sunday while conducting weekend inspections.   Maintenance employees were all recalled on Sunday and spent the entire day fixing the issue.   According […]
