Lions Holding Bowling with Santa Event

Kenton Lions Club will present Bowling with Santa on December 17. It will go from 2 until 4 on that Saturday afternoon at Hillcrest Lanes in Kenton. The event offers bowling and face painting. Hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be served. There will also be a boy's and girl's bike raffle.

HN Second Grade Students Learning About Holidays Around the World

A second grade class (Mrs. Schwartz) at Hardin Northern is gearing up to learn about holidays around the world.  In the month of December, students will visit one country a day and learn about how the holidays are celebrated there.  The class prepared for their journey by creating a suitcase to store their souvenirs in as well as a passport they will use to keep track of their travels.

Probate and Juvenile Courts Announce Closing Times in December

The Hardin County Probate and Juvenile Courts announced closing times that will take place in the month of December. The courts will be closed from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Monday December 5. Probate and Juvenile Courts and Lifeworks will also be closed Friday December 23 through Monday December 26 and December 30, 2022 through Monday January 2, 2023.
