Riverdale may have its next head boys basketball coach. According to information on the Riverdale Falcons Facebook page, Andrew "Drew" Hobensack will be named the next head coach of the team. That is pending approval of the Riverdale Board of Education at the May meeting. Coach Hobensack has been the Junior Varsity coach for the last 6 years.

A fatal house fire is under investigation in the Village of McGuffey. According to McGuffey Fire Chief Jerry Ault, firefighters were dispatched at around 5 Saturday morning to 104 Hunsicker Street in the village. The chief confirmed that two bodies were found inside, but he would not release the names. The cause of the fire has still not been determined.
