There are two more blood drives scheduled around the area during the month of February. The next one is Monday February 19, at the Belle Center United Methodist Church from 1 until 7pm. Alger Library Selling Eclipse Ornaments

As a fundraiser, the Alger Public Library is selling commemorative 2024 Solar Eclipse ornaments. The ornaments are double sided, and each side has a different picture. They are $7 each, and $10 to have it mailed.  The ornaments were made by local artist Jessica Wilson of HCO Customs.

Ada Elementary Students Conduct Successful SOUPer Bowl

Students at Ada Elementary have participated in the Souper Bowl for the past two weeks.  In a partnership with the United Way of Hardin County,  Ada students brought in canned goods for four of the county’s outreach programs, Beatitudes of Ada, Helping Hands, The Neighborhood Opportunity Center and the New Hope Ministries Homeless Shelter in Kenton.  The Souper Bowl was a success with the students bringing in 1,854 items.   The […]

First Day of Training for OSHP Basic 150
