City of Kenton Government The City of Kenton has announced that Rumpke is suspending services due to snow on Monday, January 26, 2026. This will result in a one-day delay for the remainder of the week. Service is expected to return to normal by Saturday, with regular pickup schedules resuming next week. Richland Township – On January 21, 2026, at approximately 2:47 P.M., the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a commercial semi-truck striking a home in Richland Township in Allen County. Ada Bulldogs Ada Schools recently welcomed Representative Ty Mathews for a visit. Mathews, who represents the 83rd District in the Ohio House of Representatives, met with Superintendent Julie Simmons and Ada High School Principal Dan Lee. They had the opportunity to share Ada’s plans and aspirations for the future. The school officials thanked Representative Mathews for taking the time to visit Ada Schools. There was a fire suppression line break within the new Kenton Middle/High School building this (Tuesday) morning. Water compromised at least 8 classrooms in that portion of the building. As a result, Kenton Middle/High School will be closed tomorrow, (Wednesday January 21). Kenton Elementary School should report at normal time. Peterson Construction Company and Garmann Miller are still investigating the cause of the incident, and will make an announcement at a later date.
COLUMBUS — Ohioans who wish to learn what it takes to ride a motorcycle safely and responsibly can sign up online for rider courses beginning Monday, Jan. 26 at 8 a.m. Last year, Motorcycle Ohio, the state’s motorcycle safety and education program, trained 12,237 students.
