Kenton City Council Members Hear About New KPD Hire and Projects for City

Kenton City Council conducted its third regular session of the year Monday evening. Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser informed council members that his department has hired a new police officer. The Chief called Garrett Warner, “a Kenton kid, and I’m hoping he remains a Kenton kid for a long time.” Officer Warner will be introduced to council at a future meeting. New Security Measures Start Today at Hardin County Courthouse; Entrance Permitted Only on Southside

Starting today (Monday February 9, 2026) there will be only one way to enter the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. New security screening began operations at the courthouse. Visitors and employees will only be allowed to enter the building through the south entrance on Franklin Street. Entrance on the Main and Detroit Street locations will no longer be permitted.
