Two people, including an 11-year-old child, were killed in a crash that occurred early Sunday morning on Interstate 75 in Auglaize County. Kenton Fire Department Congratulates Newest Paramedic Wil Boughan

Kenton Professional Firefighter's Local 563 The Kenton Fire Department congratulated its newest paramedic Wil Boughan. He has been in paramedic school since last August while also being a full-time father and volunteering at his local fire department. Boughan's new certification will go towards Kenton Fire Department's constant goal of providing the best care for its citizens. City of Kenton officials also praised the new paramedic, saying that the city "just gained an extra layer of top-tier safety and care."

One Injured in Findlay Shooting; Juvenile Suspect Arrested

One person was shot and a juvenile suspect was located in Findlay Thursday morning. According to a release, Findlay Police Officers received a report of male that had been shot and was being transported to the hospital by private vehicle. It was determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot at 2215 Jennifer Lane. The Findlay Police Department has announced the promotion of David Hill to the rank of Captain and Brooks Deidrick to the rank of Lieutenant. Both were officially sworn in Thursday morning by Mayor Christina Muryn.
