COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio EPA has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory until midnight tonight (07/17/26) as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality. Ohio EPA will issue an expiration notice when the air quality improves, and the smoke has left the region. Findlay Police Department The Findlay Police Department announced the hiring of a new officer. McKenna Holloway was sworn in this morning by Mayor Christina Muryn. Officer Holloway, who is 24 years of age. She is a graduate from Elida High School and a 2026 graduate from the Apollo Career Center Police Academy.
