Good Samaritan Rescues Driver from Burning Car After Head-On Crash in Hancock County

Two people were injured in a head-on crash in the 21,000 block of State Route 235 that occurred Thursday morning in Hancock County. According to a release from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, a southbound car driven by Caiden Helms crossed the center and struck a northbound vehicle by driven by Kathy Elsass. (Machinery Building) Strong storms rolled through Hardin County starting around 8 Thursday evening. Severe Storms Expected Tonight Across Hardin and Surrounding Areas

We will be keeping an eye on the weather starting this evening. Thunderstorms will occur along and behind a cold front that will cross in the evening and overnight hours. Marion Police Major Graduates from FBI National Academy

Marion, Ohio Police Department Chief Jay McDonald of the Marion City Police Department announced that Major Chris Adkins has graduated as a member of the 297th session of the FBI National Academy. Construction signs are going up for the Perry Street Trunkline Project in Kenton that starts April 6. Perry Street will be closed, and Main Street will be closed from the S & S Drive-Thru to just north of BKP Ambulance. Kenton Students Shine at Kewpee Art Invitational

Two Kenton High School art students had artwork accepted into the 2026 Kewpee High School Invitational at Artspace in Lima. This year's competition was the biggest yet, with 393 pieces entered and 193 pieces being juried into the showcase. Brenton Coppler and Emma Muller’s artwork were both accepted into the exhibition and Coppler's piece was awarded 1st place in the painting division.
