Ridgemont Schools Board Highlights Quiz Bowl, FFA, Personnel, and Graduation Plans at Recent Meeting

The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education met Wednesday evening. The Lima News reported Wednesday that Kenton Superintendent Chad Thrush is one of four finalists for the superintendent's position for Bath Schools. Artwork created by kindergarten through 12 grade students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Calvary Christian, Indian Lake, and Riverside Schools April 10 through 12. Hancock County Fair Board Reallocates $500,000 Grant to Fund Fairgrounds Improvements

The Hancock County Agricultural Society Board of Directors met on April 6, 2026, at the Old Mill Stream Centre to finalize the allocation of a $500,000 One-Time Strategic Community Investments Grant awarded in fall 2024 through former State Representative Jon Cross. The Kenton Police Department has seen an increase in vehicle break-ins and stolen vehicles in the area.
