Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
Registrations are being accepted now for the Casting Hope for a Better Tomorrow Fishing Tournament on Saturday, August 29. The event is being held to raise awareness for Alzheimer's Disease. A vehicle that was in auto-pilot mode struck a road closed barricade on US 224 in Hancock County Wednesday morning. According to the report from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, 31-year-old Bradford Smith, of Fremont, was operating the vehicle east on 224. The Tesla Model Plaid was in the auto-pilot mode, which was explained as one function below full automation. Hardin County SOUP will be serving meals next week. The free meals will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Moose Family Center, located at 801 West Lima Street in Kenton. The Kenton Lions club met Wednesday, July 15th, 2006 at the Kenton Elks Lodge 157 at 6:50 PM. 16 members and guest John Metcalf, CEO of Mid-Ohio Energy were present for the meeting. City of Kenton officials are asking residents to help keep Kenton's recycling program working efficiently by recycling only accepted items. Those items are plastic bottles, jugs, tubs and cups, metal cans, paper, cardboard and cartons, and glass bottles and jars. Items that are not to be recycles are household trash, plastic bags, hoses, cords, clothing, food waste, Styrofoam, and other non-recyclable items.
