Wyandot County Fair Lunch tickets will once again be available during the 2026 Wyandot County Fair. Lunch tickets are available from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased for $8, which allows you entry into the fair. If you return to the gate within 60 minutes from the time written on the ticket, you will receive a $5 refund. The 175th Wyandot County Fair will run from September 14-19 at the fairgrounds in Upper Sandusky.Β

State Route 37 at the Hancock and Hardin County line is scheduled to close beginning today. The Ohio Department of Transportation said this is for a culvert replacement project. It is expected to be closed for approximately 45 days. A detour will be in place.
A man changed his plea last week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court in exchange for more serious charges being dropped. 30-year-old Scott F. Bailey pleaded guilty to two counts of corrupting another with drugs, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Several aesthetic improvements have been made on the south entrance of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. Keep Hardin County Beautiful recently gave the entrance around the doors a much-needed facelift. The project was made possible through grants from Keep America Beautiful and the Hardin County Community Foundation. The southside doors are the primary entrance into the courthouse since a new security screening went into effect in February of this year.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the results of an OVI checkpoint that was in Auglaize County this past Saturday night. It was conducted in coordination with the Wapakoneta Police Department on County Road 25A, just north of State Route 67 in Auglaize County.
