Kenton Police Department The Kenton Police Department and Hardin County Sheriff's Office are holding a Cops and Bobbers youth fishing day this Sunday, August 30. It will take place from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at France Lake in Kenton. Youth under 18 do not need a fishing license, and children must be accompanied by an adult the entire time. You can bring your own fishing gear and bait, but they will be supplied if you don't have them.

Union Twp – On August 28, 2026, at approximately 3:34 A.M., the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a commercial vehicle crash on IR 75 near milepost 144, Union Township, Hancock County. Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan announced Thursday that he will seek the death penalty against Donald Alan Adams following a Grand Jury indictment on multiple counts of aggravated murder and related felonies. United Way of Hardin County -Ohio United Way of Hardin County has scheduled its 3rd Annual Senior Expo on October 9. The hours will be from 10:00 am until noon at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The free to attend event will offer a complimentary lunch, health screenings, raffle baskets, and door prizes. Over 25 vendors will also be set up.
