Alzheimer’s Association Virtual Forum to Discuss Dementia Risks Among Veterans

Dementia risks among veterans will be the topic of a statewide virtual forum put on by the Alzheimer’s Association from 5-6:30pm on June 29. Some Restrictions Lifted at Hardin Hills Health Center

Those visiting Hardin Hills Health Center no longer are required to schedule visits.  That was after Governor Mike DeWine lifted some of the visitor restrictions. Additionally, there is no longer a limit of 2 visitors at a time. Railroad Crossing Gates on SR 31 South of Kenton and in Mt. Victory Malfunctioning

The railroad crossing gates are malfunctioning and blocking traffic at crossings on State Route 31 south of Kenton and in the Village of Mt. Victory even though no trains are approaching. CSX advises that this is due to a circuit malfunction. No time frame for repairs has been given. One Person Sentenced Recently in Common Pleas Court

One person was sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to the document from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office: .Verl William McGrath, age 61 of Kenton, was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count of domestic violence.  As part of the conditions, he must complete anger management and drug and alcohol counseling and follow all recommendations. The case was heard by Judge Scott Barrett.

ONU’s HealthWise Mobile Clinic Playing Key Role in Fight Against COVID-19

Thousands of Ohioans have been vaccinated against COVID-19, thanks to the Ohio Northern University and the state of Ohio’s mass vaccination program.
