Splash Pad at Gormley Park in Forest is Back Open

Village of Forest officials announced that the Splash Pad is back open and operational as of Wednesday.    They said to be aware, the water features are on a timer, and once the water shuts off, to press the button only one time.   It takes a few seconds for it to cycle around and restart.   The issue was that the button keeps being pressed multiple times and it jams and ruins the switch.   The Splash Pad is located at Gormley Park […]

The West Ohio Food Bank announced a pop-up food distribution event will take place Friday Ohio Northern University. It will be held from 10am until noon tomorrow (June 18) at the Dial-Roberson Stadium Front Lot. Not only is Father's Day this weekend, it also has been designated Free Fishing Days. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said Ohio residents are invited to experience the state's public fishing opportunities without purchasing a license on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th.  All size and bag limits still apply during those two days.
