The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office will participate in the Click It Or Ticket Campaign May 24 through June 6. Commissioners Make it Clear that All Hardin Hills Employees Need to Get COVID-19 Vaccine

The Hardin County Commissioners say that employees of Hardin Hills Health Center should receive the COVID-19 vaccine. At a recent meeting, Administrator Sharon Huston reported that 10 nursing and therapy staff members are refusing to the get the vaccination. That may require those not vaccinated to wear full PPE and test twice a week indefinitely. Man Arrested After a Violent Assault in Lima Wednesday

A Lima man was arrested after a violent assault in Lima that occurred on Wednesday. According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to 6605 Agerter Road in that city where a female victim reported that a male acquaintance had assaulted her at her residence. Downtown Kenton Business Owners Invited to Informational Meeting this Evening

Another public forum concerning the Kenton Downtown Revitalization Project will be held this evening. Representatives from the City of Kenton and OHM Advisors will share information regarding preliminary streetscape concepts, funding sources, project schedule and more. Tonight's meeting is for Downtown Business Owners. It will start at 6 this evening in Veteran's Hall in the Hardin County Courthouse. Another informational meeting that will be open to the general public will be held next Thursday May 27.

Allen County Law Enforcement Looking for Robbery Suspect

The Allen County Sheriff's Office is looking a suspect who is wanted on a charge of robbery. The Lima/Allen-Putman County Crime Stoppers Program offers cash awards of up $1,000.00 to anyone who provides anonymous tip information that would lead to her arrest. She is 21 years of age and is five feet nine inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call (419) 229-STOP.
